Cell: 416-358-3329Rev. Dr. Charles Mantey, founder and Senior Pastor of Disciples Revival Church felt God’s calling upon his life after a divine encounter with God.
In 1969, he met a friend who gave him a Bible; and started reading the Word of God. For the first time in his life, he was led by the Holy Spirit to the book of 1John 5:21 which reads, “Little children, keep yourselves from idol.” Armed with this passage, he surrendered his life fully to Jesus.
Few weeks after his conversion, Rev Dr. Mantey became fearful for his life. While alone in his room, he heard the following strange voice: “Now you have no protection, and I am going to kill you.” This was soon followed by a flashing light and a soothing and reassuring voice that said, “Do not fear, you are not going to die. You will testify to people about what you have done; and you will carry my name to those in darkness in Ghana, Africa, and the whole world.”
As years went by, Rev. Dr. Mantey became sensitive to God’s calling upon his life; he instantly left all his earthly pursuit and aspirations to pursue God’s will for his life. In 1979, he enrolled in Christian Service University College in Kumasi, Ghana where he graduated with a Diploma in Biblical Studies. The same program also allowed him to complete his Diploma in Theology at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Dr. Mantey emigrated to Canada to continue his theological studies at Tyndale University College & Seminary and in 1994 graduated with Master’s Degree in Divinity. After taking a break from his studies to give leadership to his church, he went on to complete his graduate studies and in 2012, he was granted the Doctor of Ministry degree at Tyndale University College & Seminary in Toronto, Canada.
He is a seasoned teacher and preacher of the Word of God. His ministry is accompanied by signs and wonders which has resulted in many people receiving their healing and deliverance; and the barren blessed with children. This special anointing of the Holy Spirit upon his life has taken Rev. Dr. & Rev. (Mrs.) Mantey to Ghana, Britain, Singapore, Holland, U.S.A, South Africa, and Grenada to speak at Crusades, Conferences, Revival Meetings, and Christian Leadership meetings.
Rev. Dr. Charles Mantey is the author of the following books:
